The property is located in Cagliari at Via dei Genovesi, 94. Once you arrive at the address, you’ll notice a large sign on the street indicating the entrance.
After passing through the entrance, you’ll enter an interior area where you’ll find a black gate; go through it—it’s always open.
On the right is a staircase leading directly to the building’s main door. Below the sign, you’ll find a keypad; press any button to activate it, then enter the code 030908 and press OK.
Inside, you’ll find a common area. On the left side, there is a restroom (available for use both before check-in and after check-out).
Your apartment is located directly across from it, behind the only white door without any markings, next to a box containing the keys to access the apartment. simply align the numbers 2838, lower the black lever, and at the same time open the small door to retrieve the keys to unlock the door. We kindly ask that you keep them with you at all times and be careful not to lose them.
Parking:
- The Castello neighborhood is in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), with active access control (including cameras) from 9:00 a.m. to midnight—access between midnight and 9:00 a.m. results in a fine of €82 (except for residents)
- Free parking: Viale Buoncamino, Via Procell (before the Biology Department—note that beyond that point, parking is for residents only)
- Above Piazza Venne: paid blue-line parking (check signs/hours)
- Paid secure parking: APCOA multi-story parking garage on Viale Regina Elena; take the elevator to reach Castello
Tourist Tax in Cagliari in 2026 for Short-Term Rentals:
The tourist tax in Cagliari for 2026 was set by the city council at the end of December 2025. For short-term rentals (vacation homes, tourist apartments, Airbnb, etc.), the tax is 2 euros per person per night in the first, second, and fourth quarters of the year, and increases to 3 euros per person per night in the third quarter, which is the peak tourist season (July–September).
The tax applies to each overnight stay, with a maximum of 5 consecutive nights per stay at the same property, regardless of the type of accommodation.
Children up to age 12 and people over age 70 are exempt from this tax.
The nearest international airport is Cagliari-Elmas, about 10 km from the apartment.
From the Cagliari airport, there is a direct train that takes you to Cagliari Central Station in 15 minutes for just €1.30.

Check-in and Check-out: Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and check-out is by 10:00 a.m.
* No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. You may smoke on the balcony using the ashtray provided.
* Parties and quiet hours: Parties and events are not permitted. Please respect the peace and quiet of the building, especially during quiet hours (from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM).
* Environment and Energy Use: Help us protect the environment! Please turn off the lights and air conditioning when you leave.
* Guests: Access to the property is restricted exclusively to the people listed on the reservation.
* Cleanliness and tidiness: You will find the house clean and tidy; we would appreciate it if you could wash the dishes before your departure.
